Raymond Lee Pee Wee Owens, 99, of Mill Spring went to heaven Sunday, November 14, 2010 in White Oak Manor, Tryon.

Born in Rutherford County, NC, he was the son of the late Ella Pintuff and Andrew Owens, and was the widower of Dorothy Lynch Owens, who died in 2000.&bsp; He was a carpenter during his working life and was a member of Mill Spring Baptist Church.

Surviving are: two sons, Alan Owens of Chesnee, SC, and Michael Owens (Lisa) of Myrtle Beach, SC. Also surviving are six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Ron Owens, who died in 2006. &bsp;

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 in Mill Spring Baptist Church, with Rev. Dennis Jones, Rev. Freddie Seigfried and Rev. David Bame officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church.
