Cathy Giles Cash died peacefully on December 21, 2009, in her Campobello home following a long battle with cancer. She was born October 26, 1952, in Spartanburg, S.C., to Margie Chitwood Giles and the late Paul Luther Giles.

Cathy graduated from Wofford College in 1974 with a degree in biology. Beginning her career as an elementary school teacher in Columbus, she started working with Avon, Inc. after her children were old enough to begin attending school. She remained there for over 20 years as a district manager in Spartanburg, S.C. &bsp;

She is survived by her ex-husband Terry Cash, three children, Grayson, Terri Lynn, and Jessica, as well as her mother, Margie, her brothers Tony and David, and her sister, Amy.

A visitation in the home will be held on January 2, 2010, from 1 to 3 p.m. An online memorial has been established at www.cathy-cash.virtualmemorials.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the virtual memorial. &bsp;
