Mill Spring-Charles Benjamin Hegler age 75 of Mill Spring, NC passed away March 29, 2019 at Autumn Care of Saluda. 

 

Born in Lancaster, SC to the late Roachel Hegler and Melita Dunn Hegler of Lancaster. Mr. Hegler was a retired Truck Driver by trade for over 50 years, but his passion was a minister of the faith preaching the Gospel for Truck Stop Ministries around the country. He also served in the Army Reserves. 

 

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother, Bruce Hegler. 

 

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Hegler of Mill Spring;  daughters, Sherri Pearson of Wilmington, NC and Michelle Lemon of Ravenel, SC;  brother, Ernest Hegler of Lancaster, SC;  sisters, Shirley Mackey and Janice Sistare both of Lancaster, SC, Kathy Harrison of Columbia, SC and Vickie Vencent of Louisville,Ky;  6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

 

A private service and gathering will be held later by his family.
