Bruce Jackson

Nathan Bruce Jackson, 67, of Columbus, passed away Friday morning, July 27, 2018, at Testa Family Hospice House, Kings Mountain, North Carolina.

A native of Polk County, he was the son of Clois Champion Jackson, of Columbus, and the late Roy Jackson.

Mr. Jackson retired from ABF Trucking. During his time off, he enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR.

Mr. Jackson was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother is one daughter, Amy Hipple (Nicholas) of Shelby; one brother, David Jackson (Inez) of Columbus; two sisters, Gloria Fisher (Charlie) of Columbus and Patricia Parris (Gene) of Hendersonville. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to any hospice organization of choice.
