Joann Mills Brown died Sept. 29.

A native of Polk County, she was the widow of Jack Albert Brown.

She is survived by her children, Judy Petty of Inman, S.C., Teresa Ramsey of Boiling Springs, S.C. and Jack Junior Brown (Melissa) of Spartanburg, S.C.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Campobello on Oct. 2.
