King David Harris

King David Harris, 82, of Campobello passed away on Aug. 27, 2013. He was the son of the late Samuel Moses and Elizabeth Bennett Harris and husband of the late Mary Lois Harris.

He worked at Dill’s Recapping for many years.

He is survived by a son, Brian Harris (Deanna) of Campobello; three daughters, Patricia Deziel (Bob) of Summerville, Debra Pruitt (Dewayne) of Travelers Rest and Jeneatte Lanning (Richard) of Columbus, N.C.; a brother, Tommy Harris of Landrum; three sisters, Hattie Dodd of Alabama, Betty Center and Ethel Atkins, both of Landrum; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Sarah Pittman and nine brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013.

Graveside services will be held at  4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2013 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Dewayne Pruitt.

The family is at the home of daughter, Debra Pruitt, 1205 Chinquapin Road, Travelers Rest, SC  29690.
