Polk County District Court results – March 13, 2024

In Polk County District Court on March 13, 2024, with Judge James Marshall presiding, 112 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.                 

 

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Megan Leann Carroll was convicted of driving without a license. Carroll was sentenced to one day in jail with one day credit time served. 

 

Edward Muriel Case was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Case was sentenced to 4 to 14 months in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Case must also complete a substance abuse assessment.

 

Aurelia De-Tilon was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. De-Tilon was fined $10 plus court costs.

 

Velasco Pablo Mendoza was convicted of having an open container after consuming alcohol. Mendoza was fined $200 plus court costs.

 

David Derek Morton was convicted of unsafe movement. Morton was fined $25 plus court costs.

 

James Kendrick Pierce was convicted of assault by pointing a gun. Pierce was fined $75 plus court costs.

 

Sebastian Matt Sarver was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sarver was sentenced to 45 days in jail, suspended for 6 months of supervised probation. Sarver must also complete a substance abuse assessment and comply with treatment. 

 

Robert Hayes Staley was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Staley was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

Karen Gwen Parris was convicted of driving without a license. Parris was fined $25 plus court costs.

 

Cassandra Alley was convicted of driving while impaired. Alley was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation, with six days credit time served. Alley must also complete 24 hours of community service and a substance abuse assessment and was fined $50 plus court costs.

 

Natalie Elizabeth Conner was convicted of fleeing or eluding arrest. Conner was sentenced to 8 to 19 months in jail, suspended for 18 months of supervised probation. Conner must also complete 36 hours of community service. 

 

Shawn Charles Gary was convicted of resisting a public officer. Gary was sentenced to one day in jail, with one day credit time served.

 

Kevin Trey Grooms was convicted of driving while impaired. Grooms was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Grooms must also complete 24 hours of community service and pay lab fees and court costs.

 

Kenneth Scott Merck was convicted of obstruction of justice. Merck was sentenced to nine days in jail, with nine days credit time served.

 

Michael John Millero was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Millero was sentenced to 9 to 20 months in jail, suspended for 24 months of supervised probation, with 18 days credit time served. Millero must also complete a substance abuse assessment and 24 hours of community service, and pay court costs.

 

Rubi Aaron Panchame was convicted of driving while impaired. Panchame was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Panchame must also complete 24 hours of community service and a substance abuse assessment.

 

Benjamin Ethan Price was convicted of driving while impaired. Price was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Price must complete a substance abuse assessment and was fined $50 plus court costs.

 

Jose Hernandez Romero was convicted of driving while impaired. Romero was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Romero must also complete 24 hours of community service.

 

Wayne Bryan Williams was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Williams was sentenced to 45 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Williams must also complete 24 hours of community service.
