Polk County District Court results – February 21, 2024

In Polk County District Court on February 21, 2024, with Judge Gene Johnson presiding, 148 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.            

 

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Darin Andrew Bovee was convicted of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell or distribute. Bovee was sentenced to 10 to 21 months in jail. 

 

Madison Daniel Cole was convicted of driving without a license. Cole was fined $25 plus court costs.

 

Shawn Kevin Ellis was convicted of driving while impaired. Ellis was sentenced to 12 months in jail, suspended for 18 months of supervised probation. Ellis was also fined $250. 

 

Trejan Fincher was convicted of driving while impaired. Fincher was sentenced to six months in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation, and was fined $250 plus court costs.

 

Donald Cameron Horne was convicted of fleeing or eluding arrest. Horne was sentenced to six to 17 months in jail, suspended for 24 months of supervised probation. 

 

Colt Austin Houser was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Houser was sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended for 18 months of supervised probation. Houser must also pay $1,175 in restitution. 

 

Flisha Mae Johnson was convicted of simple assault. Johnson was sentenced to one day in jail, with one day credit time served.

 

Joshua Warner Kamp was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Kamp was sentenced to five to 15 months in jail, suspended for 24 months of supervised probation, and must complete a substance abuse assessment. 

 

Brandon Littlejohn was convicted of assault by strangulation. Littlejohn was sentenced to nine to 20 months in jail, suspended for 24 months of supervised probation, and was ordered to have no contact with the victim.

 

Michael Andrew Pass was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Pass was sentenced to one day in jail, with one day credit time served. 

 

Joel Perez-Corea was convicted of possession of marijana paraphernalia. Perez-Corea was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

Andre Robert Ramsey was convicted of misdemeanor  cruelty to animals. Ramsey was sentenced to 120 days in jail, suspended for 24 months of supervised probation. Ramsey must also relinquish any animals, may not possess any animals and was fined $1,000 plus court costs. 

 

Tami Waters Ramsey was convicted of misdemeanor cruelty to animals. Ramsey was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 24 months of supervised probation. Ramsey may not possess any animals and must surrender any animals currently owned. 

 

Ann Schwarkopf was convicted of simple assault. Schwarkopf was sentenced to 25 days in jail, with 25 days credit time served. 

 

Verna Renee Woody was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Woody was fined $25 plus court costs.
