Polk County District Court results – May 22, 2024

In Polk County District Court on May 22, 2024, with Judge Lora Baker presiding, 98 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

 

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Macy Leeann Austin was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Austin was sentenced to 10 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Austin was also fined court costs.

Garry Allen Beach was convicted of possession of stolen goods or property. Beach was sentenced to one day in jail, with one day credit time served. 

 

Kevin Lamont Fields was convicted of simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance. Fields was fined $100 plus court costs.

 

Gregory Garner was convicted of resisting a public officer. Garner was sentenced to one day in jail. 

 

Natalie Carol Jenkins was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Jenkins was sentenced to one day in jail, with one day credit time served. 

 

Bryan Liberman was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Liberman was sentenced to one day in jail, with one day credit time served. 

 

Melecio Flores Sergio was convicted of driving while impaired. Sergio was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Sergio must also complete 24 hours of community service and was fined $100 plus court costs and lab and community service fees.

 

Robert Chester Worley was convicted of simple assault. Worley was sentenced to one day in jail, with one day credit time served.
