Polk County District Court results – April 24, 2024

In Polk County District Court on April 24 2024, with Judge Gene Johnson presiding, 137 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.  

 

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Randall Burton Allen was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Allen was sentenced to 18 days in jail, with 18 days credit time served. Allen was also fined court costs and jail fees.

 

William Miller Boyd was convicted of driving while impaired. Boyd was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Boyd must also complete 24 hours of community service, a substance abuse assessment and was fined $100 plus court costs.

Audrey Coe was convicted of driving while impaired. Coe was sentenced to 90 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of supervised probation. Coe must also complete a mental evaluation and substance abuse assessment and was fined $300 plus court costs. 

 

Megan Nicole Dobson was convicted of driving while impaired. Dobson was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Dobson must also complete 24 hours of community service and was fined $100 plus court costs.

Greg Terrell Hudgens was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Hudgens was sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation, and must complete a substance abuse assessment. 

 

Matthew Colt Martin was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Martin was sentenced to 5 to 15 months in jail, suspended for 24 months of supervised probation. 

 

Angel Luis Orta was convicted of burning personal property. Orta was sentenced to 6 to 17 months in jail, suspended for 12 months of supervised probation.

 

Casey Ryan Tate was convicted of probation violation. Tate was sentenced to 31 days in jail, with 31 days credit time served. 

 

Douglas Vanderlaan was convicted of possession of marijuana ½ to 1 ½ oz. Vanderlaan was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for 12 months of unsupervised probation. Vanderlaan was also fined $100 plus court costs.

 

Stacy Michele Yeomans was convicted of simple possession of a schedule III controlled substance. Yeomans was sentenced to 45 days in jail, suspended for 18 months of supervised probation, and must complete a substance abuse assessment.
