Polk County District Court results – July 19, 2023

In Polk County District Court on July 19, 2023, with Judge Larry Wilson presiding, 105 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.     

 

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Lloyd Cannady was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Cannady was fined $50 plus court costs.

 

Marcavus Carson was convicted of driving without a license. Carson was fined $100 plus court costs.

 

Ja’Quincy Ellis was convicted of driving without a license. Ellis was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

Dusty Corman Gibson was convicted of assault with a deadly weapon. Gibson was sentenced to 150 days in jail suspended for 18 months of supervised probation. Gibson was also fined $200 plus court costs and is forbidden from having contact with the victim. 

 

Andrew Ryan Guy was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Guy was fined $50 plus court costs. 

 

Jeremy Lewis Horner was convicted of driving while impaired. Horner was sentenced to 75 days in jail, with 75 days credit time served. Horner must also attain a substance abuse assessment.

 

Jeremy Huntley was convicted of speeding. Huntley was fined $100 plus court costs.

 

Joanna Martinez was convicted of speeding. Martinez was fined court costs.

 

Chelsea Matthews was convicted of resisting a public officer. Matthews was sentenced to one day in jail, with one day credit time served.

 

Latwyyella Maxwell was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Maxwell was sentenced to one day in jail, with one day credit time served. 

 

Hazel McFarland was convicted of driving without a license. McFarland was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

William Damon Pack was convicted of sexual battery. Pack was sentenced to 150 days in jail, suspended for 24 months of supervised probation. Pack must also complete domestic violence treatment and have no contact with the victim. 

 

Thomas Glenn Ray was convicted of speeding. Ray was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

Cooper Lee Snyder was convicted of consumption of alcohol by a person 19 years or younger. Snyder was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

Aiden Patrick Starling was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon and speeding. Starling was fined $50 plus court costs.

 

Jordan Lee Walker was convicted of driving while impaired. Walker was sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended for 24 months of unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, and was fined $100 plus court costs.

 

Alyas Worthington was convicted of consumption of alcohol by a person 19 years or younger. Worthington was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

Ashtyn Worthington was convicted of consumption of alcohol by a person 19 years or younger. Worthington was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

Charles Middleton was convicted of speeding. Middleton was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

Christiana Wallace was convicted of speeding. Wallace was fined $30 plus court costs.

 

Kianna Wilson was convicted of speeding. Wilson was fined $30 plus court costs.
