In Polk County District Court on March 24, 2023, with Judge Abe Hudson presiding, 105 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.  

 

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Tiffany Dean Burleson was convicted of driving with no operator’s license  Brown was fined $100 plus court costs.

 

Wilmer Ferna Granados was convicted of driving while impaired and reckless driving with wanton disregard for safety. Granados was sentenced to seven days of jail, one year of supervised probation and fined $100 plus court costs, and must complete a substance abuse assessment treatment program.

 

Brian Ross Guffey was convicted of intoxicated and disruptive behavior. Guffey was sentenced to one day in jail with time served.

 

Andrew S. Hudson was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Hudson was sentenced to 24 months of supervised probation.

 

Alfred L. Simpson was convicted of driving while impaired. Simpson was sentenced to 1 year of unsupervised probation and 24 hours of community service, and was fined $100 plus court costs.

 

Joshua Taylor Tyson was convicted of reckless driving with wanton disregard for safety. Tyson was fined $100 plus court costs.
