Kathryn Jeanette Thompson Brock, age 77, of Cove Road, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 at her home. Kathryn was born in Spartanburg County, SC and is a daughter of the late Norman and Novella Wilkie Thompson. She was a retired C.N.A. having provided care for those in her community for over 25 years.

Kathryn is survived by her husband William Douglas Brock, JR.; three daughters, Jackie Grimes (William), Rhonda Black (Ralph), and Vickie Cartee (Ben); two sons, Ronald Brock (Carmen) and Jeffrey Brock (Lora); three sisters, Norma Thompson, Deborah Oglesby and Faye Bomar; one brother, Michael Thompson; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 – 6 P.M., Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Crowe’s Mortuary 118 College Ave. Rutherfordton, NC 28139.

A Memorial Service will be held 4 P.M. Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Pilgrims Way 485 Hamilton Road, Rutherfordton, NC 28139 with Rev. Wayne Stafford, Rev. Warren Elliott and Rev. Mike Etters officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
