During the month of October, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 498 calls for service. 

There were 10 felony arrests, 29 misdemeanor arrests and 20 citations issued. 

Officers completed 884 house checks, 2,610 business checks, 1,514 church checks, assisted the public 77 times, served 77 civil papers and 29 criminal papers, and patrolled 24,622 miles. 

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 104 inmates, including 70 men and 34 women.
