Polk County District Court results – Oct. 10

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 161 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following were convicted of a crime:

Andrew Jeffrey Kiss was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Kiss was fined $40.

Jake T. Kundert was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Kundert was fined $50 and court costs.

Shaiheen L. McDowell was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. McDowell was fined $50 and court costs.

Dewayne Lee Medlin was convicted of resisting public officer. Medlin was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit.

Russell A. Saverance was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Saverance was to pay court costs.

Kris Alan Suneson was convicted of breaking and entering. Suneson was sentenced to 12-months unsupervised probation and court costs.

Molly Renee Testerman was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Testerman was fined $50.
