Polk County District Court Results – Sept. 19, 2018

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, with Judge Fritz Mercer presiding, 15 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following people were convicted of a crime:

Ryan Hovey Campbell was convicted of possession of schedule II controlled substance. Campbell was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 12 days.

Collin Jasiah Mills was convicted of flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle. Mills was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 13 days.

Dennis James Sommers was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Sommers was sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
