Columbus Police Department report – June 2018

During the month of June 2018, the Columbus Police Department answered 469 calls for service.

There were 13 arrests, including four felony arrests, eight misdemeanor arrests and one fugitive arrested.

There were 169 total charges, including 64 speeding citations, seven no operator’s license, four driving while license revoked, nine drug charges, five uninsured motorists, six careless and reckless driving, 19 registration violations and two open containers.

Officers completed a total of 6,866 premise checks, including 90 residential, 6,606 business and 170 for churches.

There were 389 community patrols, and officers assisted other agencies 15 times.
