During the month of April, the Columbus Police Department answered 138 calls for service.

Columbus responded to one call for a mobile property (vehicle) fire in Bills Creek.

In the town of Columbus, the department responded to one brush or brush and grass mixture fire, one grass fire, 15 medical assist, two emergency medical service, four EMS calls, three motor vehicle accident with injuries, four motor vehicle accidents with no injuries, one hazardous condition, three aircraft standby, two service call, one public service assistance, two dispatched and cancelled en route, four no incident found on arrival, two false alarms, one smoke detector activation due to malfunction, two smoke detector activation-no fire and one detector activation-no fire, unintentional.

In the Columbus Township, the department responded to one passenger vehicle fire, 23 medical assists, five EMS calls, two motor vehicle accidents with injuries, three motor vehicle accidents with no injuries and one hazardous condition.
