During the month of February 2018, the Columbus Police Department answered 461 calls for service.

There were two felony arrests, four misdemeanor arrests, one driving while impaired arrest and two fugitives arrested.

There were 76 speeding citations, nine no operator’s license, six driving while license revoked, eight drug charges, five uninsured motorists, 18 careless and reckless driving, 22 registration violations and one open container.

Officers completed 91 residence checks, 7,883 business checks and 269 church checks.

The department assisted other agencies 20 times, completed 489 community patrols and received 39 hours in training.
