Polk County District Court results for April 6

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 148 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

James B. Amerman was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Amerman was fined $80 and court costs.

Arpan R. Chakraborty was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Chakraborty was fined $50 and court costs.

Emanuel Cruz was convicted of assault on a female. Cruz was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.

Preston Devon Frazier was convicted of speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. Frazier was fined $100 and court costs.

Elizabeth Anne Hobson was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Hobson was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.

John Daniel Husted was convicted of possession of schedule VI controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Husted was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.

Thomas Robert Jones was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Jones was fined $40 and court costs.

Darlene Kuhl was convicted of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kuhl was sentenced to two years supervised probation and court costs.

Henri J. Lamaire was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Lamaire was fined $40 and court costs.

Chad McDowell was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county and possession of stolen goods. McDowell was sentenced to 10 days in jail for each.

Chucky Tyrone McEntyre was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. McEntyre was sentenced to 75 days in jail for probation violation and 30 days in jail for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sabrina Renee Painter was convicted of misdemeanor cruelty to animals. Painter was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $25 fine and court costs.

Jaris Myles Reynolds was convicted of misdemeanor breaking and or entering. Reynolds was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Tengjun Song was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Song was fined $40 and court costs.

Monique A. Stokes was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Stokes was fined $40 and court costs.

Jeremiah D. Thompson was convicted of possession of marijuana ½ to 1 and ½ ounces. Thompson was sentenced to one year supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Robert Gayl Trolinder was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Trolinder was fined $40 and court costs.
