During the month of March 2016, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 675 calls for service.

There were eight felony arrests, 17 misdemeanor arrests, 26 citations issued 88 civil papers served and 21 criminal papers served.

Officers completed 1,283 house checks, 3,042 business checks, 1,492 church checks, assisted the public 24 times and patrolled 27,976 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked 63 inmates, including 50 males and 13 females.
