In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 96 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Jennifer Lynn Bascomb was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Bascomb was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Kenneth Lee Bella was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Bella was fined $50 and court costs.
Kimberly L. Bridges was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Bridges was fined $40 and court costs.
Aldolphus B. Capehart was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Capehart was fined $40 and court costs.
Volodymyr V. Frolov was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Frolov was fined $40 and court costs.
Diana Sue Hormell was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Hormell was fined $40 and court costs.
Robert Roy Johnson II was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Johnson was sentenced to 10 days in jail, one year supervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs.
Geri Cartei King was convicted of misdemeanor possession of schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of schedule VI controlled substance. King was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Josiah Christavia Knox was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Knox was fined $40 and court costs.
Lenny James Presnell was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Presnell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Mark Anthony Searcy was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Searcy was fined $100 and court costs.
Ricky Dean Shehan was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Shehan was to pay court costs.
Tiffany Dawn Watkins was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Watkins was fined $50 and court costs.

Tanner Lynn Burnette was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Burnette was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jonathan Taylor Garvin was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Garvin was sentenced to 10 days in jail, one year supervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
Bradley Evan Holden was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Holden was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
Jamal William Howard was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Howard was to pay court costs.
Reagan Lee Jackson was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Jackson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
