Elford “Elf” Campbell

Elford Furman “Elf” Campbell, 90, of Landrum passed away April 14, 2014.  He was the son of the late Furman Landrum and Bessie Belue Campbell and husband of Margaret Belcher Campbell.
He was owner of Elf Campbell’s Used Cars for 31 years.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gowensville and served in the US Navy during WWII and participated in the D Day operation.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Campbell and a brother, Homer Carlisle “Carlie” Campbell of Greer; a very special niece Becky Weaver and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Fred, Othel, Louie and Kenny Campbell and two sisters, Ruby Weaver and Annie Lee Farmer.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Gowensville Cemetery conducted by Rev. Harold Thompson and Rev. Josh Phillips.
The family will receive friends after the service at the Family Life Center.
