The varsity won the match 25-17, 25-13 and 25-18 to clinch the Western Highlands Conference championship.

Polk’s conference record is 13-1; its overall record this season is 17-4.

JV lost their games 15-25 and 20-25 against an undefeated Hendersonville JV team.

Polk was scheduled to play East Henderson Wednesday night, Oct. 19, to end its regular season. The team is seeded no. 1 in the state 2-A playoffs.

Polk will face Smokey Mountain at home Saturday, Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. in the opening game of the playoffs.
