Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held on Wednesday, March 30 with Judge T. Mack Brittain presiding, 175 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are as given in court records):
Scotty Eugene Blondell was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Blondell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Michael Oryan Blounts was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Blounts was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Toby Lane Chandler was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of paraphernalia. Chandler was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Mkeka Brian Copney was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Copney was fined $30 and court costs.
Timothy Allen Dusseau was convicted of speeding 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. Dusseau was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $92 fine and court costs.
Joey Daniel Heatherly was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired and reckless driving-wanton disregard. Heatherly was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs for driving while impaired and one year unsupervised probation and court costs for reckless driving.
Daniel Joseph Mullins was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Mullins was sentenced to one day in jail.
Hilda Esme Pizanorojas was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Pizanorojas was fined $100 and court costs.
Ashley Marie Pobanz was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Pobanz was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Walter Andrew Raines was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Raines was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Timothy Shellenberger was convicted of speeding 49 mph in a 40 mph zone. Shellenberger was fined $40 and court costs.
Jason Alan Smith was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Smith was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Ronald Stephen Vassey was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Vassey was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Vongvivath Vogdeuane was convicted of speeding 69 mph in a 65 mph zone. Vogdeuane was fined $30 and court costs.
