Born in Gaffney, S.C., she was the wife of the late Harold Lee Pridmore and the daughter of the late Dever Smith and Elizabeth Jenkins Smith. She was retired from Vulcan Materials and a member of the Restoration Church in Spartanburg where she served as a faithful volunteer for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Pam Pridmore of Landrum and Leigh Pridmore of Pacolet; two brothers, Brian Smith of Gaffney and Dever Smith of Pacolet.

A celebration service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 at the Restoration Church in Spartanburg with Dr. Tony Cribb and Bishop Don Horton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Restoration Church, P.O. Box 8898, Spartanburg, S.C. 29305.

The family will be at the home of Dever and Carolyn Smith, 3932 Pacolet Highway, Pacolet, S.C. 29372.
