Born April 11, 1934, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Curtis Hayes and Ella Mae Martin Jolley. He was a farmer.

Survivors include a sister, Geneva Newman of Campobello, three brothers, Jerry Dean Jolley&bsp; of Orlando, Fla., Buddy Jolley of Boiling Springs, and Gonsolee Jolley of Fingerville, S.C.. He was predeceased by two brothers, William Jolley and Hayes Jolley.

Funeral services were at

11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008 at Floyd&squo;s Boiling Springs Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Andy Case. Burial was at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
