Roselyn McCallum

Born Roselyn Annette Pedersen on July 15, 1911, in Columbia, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Henning and Rosabelle Fripp Pedersen. She was first married to the late William B. Stubbs and then to the late Edward S. McCallum Sr. She was the former owner of The Eau Claire Lunch in Columbia and moved to Spartanburg in 1956. She was a lifelong Lutheran and a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, William P. Stubbs Sr. of the home, and Kenneth S. Stubbs Sr. of LaPorte, Texas; two step-sons, Edward S. McCallum Jr.&bsp; of Greenwood, and David B. McCallum; seven grandchildren, including William P. &dquo;Pete&dquo; Stubbs Jr. and wife Starr of Tryon; six great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Marguerite Harvey, and four brothers, Edgar, Henning, Alfred S., and Woodrow Pedersen of Columbia. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Graveside services were held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by Pastor B. Gene Baker.
