A small plane had to make an emergency landing on the side of U.S. 74 Tuesday afternoon. Local emergency crews responded. The plane was able to leave the area around 3 p.m. The landing occurred just past the Pea Ridge Rd. exit. (photo by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office)
