One of the riders dialed 911 after discovering the body near a bridge where Interstate 26 crosses over River Road. The road is part of the FETA horse trail system that runs through parts of Polk County.

The deceased male has been identified as Greg Livengood, 50, of Arden.

When officials arrived on the scene, the vehicle that Livengood had been driving was found parked on I-26, still running, according to officials. Chief Ramsey says that the case is being ruled as a suicide.
