After defeating West Henderson on March 7, Polk County’s women’s varsity soccer squad came up a goal short against conference rival Madison last Wednesday, March 9.

With the score tied at one at the half at Madison, the Patriots outscored Polk 3-2 in the second half, to record a 4-3 win.

On March 7 at West Henderson, the Wolverines owned a 1-0 lead after the first half of play. In the second half, the Wolverines buried the Falcons, 4-1, to take a 5-1 win.

Next Monday, March 21, Polk hosts Avery with varsity beginning at 6 p.m.
