Sara Jane Walker Skipper passed away March 17, 2014 in Pardee Hospital.
She is survived by her children Sherry Skipper of Golden, CO., Kevin Skipper of Forest City, N.C. and Patti Skipper Brown of Columbus, N.C. She also is survived by her grandchildren Quincy Jackson, Ashley Greene, Kristal Haston, Malissa Skipper and Josh Edwards; and four great grandchildren. Her surviving siblings are Elizabeth McDade, Kenneth Walker, Joyce McCraw, Nell Blanton, and Garland Walker.
Memorial services and celebration of life will be held at New Hope UMC, 38 Lee Cudd Rd., Rutherfordton, N.C.  on May 17, 2014 at 2 p.m.
