Pamela Phillips Hutcherson, 58, of Landrum died Tuesday, December 18, 2012.

Born in Tryon, she was the daughter of Genelle Price Phillips of Bird Mountain, S.C. and the late James Herman Phillips.

She was a member of the Red Fox Country Club Women’s Golf League and volunteered for Foothills Humane Society. Pam was a member of Gowensville First Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband of 31 years, John T. Hutcherson of the home; two daughters, Kimberly H. Smith (Ricky) of Campobello, S.C. and Cassie H. Davis (Kenneth) of Spartanburg, S.C.; niece and nephew, Cynthia Phillips and Bryan Phillips (Crystal) both of Columbus.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Phillips.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, with Rev. Chad Rickenbacker and Mr. Pete Hartman officiating.
