Landrum 29, Bessemer City 18

Landrum beat Bessemer City handily on Saturday night, Aug. 11. The Cardinals got big plays from JoJo Wilkins and quarterback Aaron Bryant en route to a 29-18 win. Bryant ran in a touchdown from 7 yards out and a touchdown from 41 yards out. Wilkins had a 42-yard touchdown run. He also had a 35-yard run during which he ran over a Yellow Jacket defender to set up the Cardinals’ first touchdown. (photo by Joey Millwood)
