The Polk County Red Cross is accepting donations for its annul tag, rummage and silent auction held Saturday, September 25 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a half price sale on Sunday, September 26 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Red Cross is having trouble getting donations this year and is asking for the support of the community. All donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be giving upon request. Organizers are asking for those treasures that you cant (almost) be without.

Bring your donations to the chapter located at 231 Ward St. in Columbus. Call 828-894-2700 for directions or pick-up.

This Red Cross chapter has been in Polk County for 90 years and is ready to help the community.
