Not another charity golf tournament?! No. But that doesnt mean that area golfers cant join in to participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters unique annual fundraiser, Bowl For Kids Sake. On February 27, teams of civic clubs, coworkers, church members, students, family, friends, and golfers, all rally to show support for area children.

If you dont know how to bowl, dont really like to bowl, or love to bowl, it doesnt matter. The idea is to have fun while helping kids. And how can you not smile while wearing those funky shoes?

Team members are in for two hours of fun. Each bowler receives a t-shirt, two free games, shoes, pizza, drink, a chance to win great door prizes, and the satisfaction of helping BBBS. Special prizes are awarded to top fundraisers.

Big Brothers Big Sisters solicits sponsorships from area businesses to cover the cost of the event. So all the funds donated by participants go directly to support local BBBS mentoring programs for children in our schools and communities.
