Mr. Kenneth Alan Backus and Ms. Kristi Nicole Murray were married on October 3 in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

Kristi is the daughter of Leonard Karl Murray and Jennifer Lee Yourd Murray of Columbus.

Kenneth is the son of Alan Orin Backus and Patrician Michel Backus of Raleigh, N.C.

The newlyweds now reside in Montreal, Canada where Kenneth works as a computer software programmer for Funcom Games Canada and Kristi will be continuing her work toward a veterinary degree.
