Polk County District Court results 9/21/22

In Polk County District Court on Sept. 21, 2022 with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 85 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Jerry Lee Alexander was convicted of possession of schedule II controlled substance. Alexander was sentenced to 2 years supervised probation, 10 days in jail with credit for time served, a $200 fine and court costs.

Asia Banks was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation and fictitious information to officer. Banks was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs. 

Joyce Case was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Case was sentenced to 1 day in jail with credit for time served. 

Kayla Ann Cobb was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Cobb was sentenced to 1 year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs. 

Jamar Lee Hines was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon. Hines was sentenced to 1 year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs. 

Courtney Elizabeth Moore was convicted of rear lamps violation and driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Moore was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served. 

Davyn Moss was convicted of speed in excess of 55 mph, reckless driving to endanger and driving while license revoked. Moss was sentenced to 45 days impatient treatment with 14 days credit. 

Daniel A. Onufriychuk was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Onufriychuk was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs. 

Erin Elizabeth Roy was convicted of flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle. Roy was sentenced to 8-19months in prison with 72 days credit. 

Steven Mathew Short was convicted of driving while impaired motorboat. Short was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs. 

Kayla A. Stewart was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Stewart was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served. 

Jeffery Michael Stuart was convicted of intoxicated and disruptive. Stuart was sentenced to 5 days in jail with credit for time served. 

Melissa D. Willard was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Willaed was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 7 days in jail, 48 hours of community service, a $400 fine and court costs.
