Saluda to hold event to appreciate first responders Saturday

SALUDA—The City of Saluda will be celebrating First Responders Day this Saturday, Oct. 30 at McCreery Park. 

The city is hosting the event to celebrate and thank the first responders who help the community. 

The event will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the McCreery Park Pavilion and parking lot downtown. 

There will be fire truck displays; cars from the City of Saluda Police Department and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office; CPR instruction in the park pavilion and car seat installation and inspections in the parking lot. 

Everyone is welcome and the event is free.
