Saluda Downtown Foundation, a designated NC Main Street town formed in 2012, and the nearly 25-year Saluda Business Association, along with the Saluda City commissioners have formed an alliance to enrich Saluda’s downtown and business community. At their April Board of Commissioners meeting, Marc Blazar, president of the Saluda Business Association, signed an agreement with the city to work together on projects for downtown beautification, events that will be held in Saluda, and other mutually beneficial endeavors. Discussion and meetings about combining these three organizations have been ongoing since the summer of 2016.
