Libbie Johnson, publisher of the online newsletter, This Week in Tryon Horse Country, along with the Foothills Equestrian Nature Center (FENCE), the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) and several volunteers are working to find space for thousands of horses evacuating Florida and the coast. As of Friday, both FENCE and TIEC had a few stalls available, but no place for humans.

Anyone with a paddock, pasture or extra stalls, an extra bed and/or a place for pets is asked to call FENCE 828-859-9021 or TIEC 828-863-1005.
