Saluda Senior Center hosting Medicare educational seminar, Oct. 7

Saluda Senior Center is hosting a Medicare seminar on Oct 7. There will be two sessions, one at 3 p.m. and one at 6 p.m.

This important free educational seminar is open to all residents of Polk and Henderson Counties.  Anyone covered by Medicare or approaching age 65 should review their health insurance options each year. Some of the important topics to be covered are: What is the difference between a Medicare Supplement and a Medicare Advantage Plan? Are all Part D prescription drug plans created equally? Does the Affordable care Act (OBAMACARE) affect me? What options and/or health insurance providers are available in Polk and Henderson Counties? Premiums and co-pays.

Open enrollment is Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. There will be two sessions at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
