Polk County District Court Results for Dec. 3

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, with Judge Athena Brooks presiding, 177 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Thomas G. Campbell was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Campbell was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, two days in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

Sydney Francis Daniel was convicted of possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Daniel was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served, a $750 fine and court costs.

Rashid Ishmal Dunn was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Dunn was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.

David Eric Johnson was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Johnson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.

Larry Lee Johnson was convicted of unauthorized use of motor vehicle. Johnson was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.

Christopher Stewart Lowe was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Lowe was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.

Terry Lee McEntire was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. McEntire was fined $20 and court costs.

Anthony Eugene Moss was convicted of open container malt beverage/unfortified wine on county/city property. Moss was to pay court costs.

Crystal Nicole Page was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Page was fined $90 and court costs.

Nita Michelle Plumley was convicted of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Plumley was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Catherine Blackwell Wing was convicted of impaired equipment. Wing was fined $40 and court costs.

Brittany Nicole Wray was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Wray was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 20 days in jail with credit, a $200 fine and court costs.

Thomas Justin Shelly was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Shelly was to pay court costs.

Gordon McNeil was convicted of level five driving while impaired. McNeil was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
