All are invited.

The Friendship Council is very active in bringing peoples of various races and ethnic backgrounds together in the various events it sponsors, such as the annual Friendship Picnic at Harmon Field in June, Christmas caroling and potluck and the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration held at Tryon Fine Arts Center every year in January, as well as other events throughout the year.
