Survivors include her son James C. and daughter-in-law Ann W. of Sarasota, son William W. Jr. of Raleigh, N.C.; grandsons Christian and William W. III and nephew C.E. Philips Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William W. Clark.

Mrs Clark was born in Atlanta, Ga., and lived most of her life in Jacksonville, Fla., before moving to North Carolina in 1966. Once in Tryon, she became a member of The Church of the Holy Cross and volunteered for many years with the St. Luke&squo;s Hospital Auxillary.
