Marilyn Linda Moore, 69 of Landrum, SC, died on April 10, 2024, at her home.

Marilyn was born February 4, 1955, at St. Luke Hospital Tryon, NC, to Ella Sue Moore And Richard Jackson. She loved to care for people and worked as a certified nursing assistant at White Oak Manor Of Tryon, NC, for many years. She also loved to cook, and if you were hungry, she would make sure you ate.

Marilyn leaves to cherish fond and loving memories two sons, Clarence Moore of Rutherford County and Roger Moore of Landrum, SC, one daughter, Leshia Merrill of Landrum, SC, and her many grandchildren: Jarvis, Treyveon, Caidyn, Ariana, Naomi, Kingston, Camron, Mackenzie, Melanie, and Brianna. She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Garrison Chapel Baptist Church in Tryon, NC. Burial will be in the Good Shepherd Church Cemetery.

The body will be in church at One o’clock for public viewing.
