The next Chamber Business After Hours will be hosted on Tuesday, Aug. 21 from 6-7:30 p.m. by Little Mountain Farm Supply and Purrrfect Bark. Note the later time change from the regular 5:30 start.
Owner Laura Backus, along with her son Eric Mack and staff, are planning for the monthly gathering of chamber members and prospective members. This shop has many items for people with horses or other pets, who like to garden or who have hardware store needs. Little Mountain Farm Supply has supplied local  feed and seed needs for the last 13 years. It is located on Hwy. 9, one mile south from the Hwy. 74 intersection, on the right on the hill. The store will be open for purchases at the event.
Laura will prepare the usual fare for this event, and said she has plenty of room in the store and under the large porch area to accommodate everyone. Bring your business cards, feel free to bring a door prize from your own business, and remember to RSVP before Monday, Aug. 20 at 5 p.m. by calling the chamber at 828-859-6236.
