Polk district court results Jan. 12

In Polk County District Court held Wednesday, Jan. 12 with Judge Pete Knight presiding,
107 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
William Trent Hodges was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Hodges was
sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100
fine and court costs.
Boyce Howard was convicted of assault by pointing a gun and simple possession of
schedule IV controlled substance. Howard was sentenced to 30 months supervised
probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Karla F. Kachadoorian was convicted of common law uttering. Kachadoorian was
sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Kimberly Leanne Kerr was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Kerr was
sentenced to two years supervised probation, 14 days in jail, a $500 fine and court costs.
Douglas Charl Stevens was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Stevens was
sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100
fine and court costs.
