GREEN CREEK—This Father’s Day, a unique celebration will take place at Gaga’s Gardens, located at 123 McDowell Rd. in Columbus. The free celebration and tour will have live music and mimosas while they last and will be held on Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Gaga’s Gardens, a four-and-one-half-acre farm, is a unique haven for nature lovers. Owned by Nance Wolff and her husband, Rick Rogers, the gardens are a living testament to nature’s beauty and diversity. The daylily farm, with its hundreds of varieties, and the sectional gardens, each a unique blend of plants and outdoor art, are waiting to be discovered and appreciated.

“We’ve done tours for the last six years, but this is one of the first times we are opening up the garden to the public for a celebration like this,” Nance says. “We hope those looking for something fun to do over the Father’s Day weekend will pay us a visit.

The Father’s Day celebration and tour will also serve as a platform to showcase their new business, Souls ‘N Bloom, where they offer specially hybridized lilies as a unique way to commemorate special occasions and loved ones. Wolff’s cross-pollination of daylilies creates new varieties, which are then sold as individual daylily plants registered to the buyer or the loved one they are commemorating.

Along with the garden tour, visitors can shop for original stained glass, a wide array of Hawaiian shirts, and jewelry and enter for a chance to win a $200 gift certificate from their new business. There will be open mic performances on Saturday and music by the band Pearls Collide on Sunday.

No pets are allowed at the event, and no children under 12 are allowed. A $5 donation is appreciated for Mimosas. There will be space for extra parking next to the Greenhouse, adjacent to 688 Chesnee Road. For any questions, contact Nance or Rick by text at (828) 447-8684.
