“Billy had a vision for a piece of property he owned and brought me in to partner with him,” says Rogers. “We wanted to create a business for the glory of God that would fit with our ministry, the Forge.”

Crossed Axes is a family business designed for family fun. It is a multi-lane axe-throwing venue available for individuals and groups. The lanes are set by World Axe-Throwing League standards. The WATL reports that the sport now generates around $215 million a year and is growing, with about 360 axe-throwing businesses operating across the country.

Participants must be fifteen years of age to throw axes. For younger children, there are special safety axes and targets. It also features a foosball table and cornhole. Crossed Axes also offers a portable axe-throwing trailer available to rent for parties and events.

“If you’ve ever had any interest in axe-throwing, please come check out Crossed Axes,” adds Rogers. “We have a 50% off Facebook special discount for those who share about our business. When you visit, just show us where you’ve shared our page or account.”

Crossed Axes is open Thursday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, visit crossedaxesnc.com  or call 828-226-2211 to book a lane or private event.
